Last year French downhill racer and all-round mountain biking star Cédric Gracia teamed up with Panaracer to put his name to a range of signature tyres.

Since the launch, his scribble has found its way onto several tyres as the range has expanded to fit different needs, even including a 29er version. We’ve just just received the 26in All Condition All Mountain 2.25in for testing, and which will find their way onto the Cannondale Jekyll we’re currently testing.

It’s billed as an all-rounder, as the name suggests, for the typical range of conditions we get in the UK. Sporting a chunky tread pattern with a directional central section, and good transition blocks to the shaped shoulder lugs, the tyre should be a good all-round trail tyre with good rolling resistance. The knobs feature siping – slots across the centre – that give the knob increased flexibility, allowing them to find more traction.

A Combo Compound is intended to increase durability with a 66TPI construction. It’ll be interesting to see how the tread compound compares to the sticky Schwalbe Hans Dampf we’ve been testing recently.

Quoted weight for the tyre is 750g. A tubeless version is also available.
