It’s been an exciting year packed full of new bike releases. Here’s the ten bikes that we’re most looking forward to in 2011.

Cannondale Jekyll

For 2011 Cannondale stripped the Jekyll, a model around since 2001, right back to the drawing board and revamped it as a 150mm all-mountain bike with a Fox Dyad RT2 pull-shock and adjustable suspension for better performance whether climbing or descending.

The shock has two settings, 90mm for riding up the hill and 150mm for coming back down, with the shocks separate  air chambers and damping circuits for each travel setting.

Around this shock Cannondale has designed an impressive looking frame that’s very aesthetically pleasing. ‘BallisTec’ carbon fibre has been used which is claimed to be super tough: Cannondale reckon the carbon is tough enough that if you wanted, you could whack it with a hammer and there would be no structural damage.
