The newly formed Scottish League of Veteran Racing
Cyclists start off their very first season with 16 events. Open only to competitors
over 40 years of age the events consists of time trials on non fixed distances and
awards are on handicap. Road Races are all in age category. The season first ever
massed start hill climb over the “Rest and be Thankful” at Arrochar.
The first event a 7.5 miles time trial is at Erskine, near Glasgow Airport.
