SRAM yesterday launched their 2001 products to the nation, well the world actually, via their website www.sram.com.

MTB in a nutshell:

8-speed from the bottom of the range, 3.0, range; Intergrated trwist grip shifter and V brake levers up to 5.0 range where seperates are available; the brand new 8/9 speed trigger shifter (pictured below) from 5.0 upwards; the 9.0 group has a nice looking ‘Shorty’ shifter which should answer last year’s ‘but twist grips take up too much room on my bars’ critics; and the super-desirable 9.0SL sprinkled with pimpy-white parts.

Elsewhere on the site are Specktra town groups, Vaguely reminisant of the old Raleigh Vektar approach to bikes and technology (is that how it was spelt? Answers on the forum) is the Smart Bar.
