We’ve just got the confirmed registration address for the Coed-y-Brenin Fat Tyre Festival on 20/21st April.
There’s more details here, but if you fancy non competitive 11, 20 and 50km rides round epic, handbuilt Snowdonian singletrack then get your SAE in the post to;
Fat Tyre Festival, 6 High street, Alton, Staffs, ST10 4A.
The weekend should be an absolute blinder, with challenge rides for all abilities, plus the chance to ride all the latest singletrack sections that the Forestry commission have created.
Training rides with team Giant / Helly Hansen, trials, trailbuilding and maintenance workshops, trade stands, free security and changing areas, free bike wash and lube for challenge entrants and a finishers medal are all included in the £5 (Saturday) or £8 (Sunday 50k) price.
The event is being organised by the Forestry Commission using the same crew as the Red Bull 24hr, with additional support from Masterlock, Giant, Fibrax, Dirt Wash, TF2, Scott USA and Halfords Bike Hut.
We’ll see you there.
