Marc Beaumont has been rewarded for his UCI Downhill World Cup victory by re-signing for GT ahead of the 2011 season.

Beaumont took top honours in Val di Sole in August last year and a stellar season saw him finish fifth in the overall World Cup standings.

“I am so happy to be riding for GT again and also continuing my long relationship with Fox clothing,” said 26-year-old Beaumont.

“I am hoping to build on my success in 2010 and we will see where that gets me. I’ll be competing in the BDS series and the UCI World Cup series. It’ll be great fun and I’m very excited for the coming season.”
