The whole mountain bike industry and a lot of the riders seem to be non-stop talking about the hottest discipline on the block, enduro. But have you ever wondered what they are all on about? And isn’t ‘enduro’ a race that involves bigger distances than a cross-country event?
Greg Callaghan is an Irish rider with a good idea of what the buzzword means, and in this edit he takes time to explain the race format clearly as well as a little about his own interesting childhood growing up on two wheels. There’s also some racing footage from the Irish series, which you can find out more about over on Gravity Enduro Ireland.
Who’s going to give an enduro race a go next year then? And should everyone start clarifying this style of racing as ‘gravity enduro’ to differentiate between it and long-distance XC?
