By all accounts, the UCI World Cup DH at Fort William in Scotland last weekend was a stellar event, with the racing proving fast and exciting, some even moved to say it was the best race ever.

That’s clearly some statement, but in a race that saw Tracy Moselely take a convincing win with fellow Brit Rachel Atherton hot on her heels in second, and the young Danny Hart putting in an unbelievably sketchy but undoubtedly fast run to finish second by Greg Minnaar, it was a great spectacle and showed downhill racing to its fullest.
