Your guide to waterproof cycling trousers
Love ’em or hate ’em, waterproof trousers are essential if you plan riding out in the rain and inevitable mud that comes with it.
The thought of waterproof trousers may evoke a sweaty, rustling nightmare – but it needn’t be that way.
Firstly, make sure your waterproof trousers are just that – waterproof. If you’re going to be spending hours out in the wet then water resistant just won’t do.
Secondly, like most MTB clothing, ensure they’re breathable so, when the going gets tough, the sweat you produce in order to cool down is transported away from the skin.
