The second round of the popular Southern XC series takes place this Sunday (29 May) at Frith Hill, Deepcut Bridge Road, Deepcut. The venue has only been used once before, for a Gorrick race earlier this year, and the 5mile course will include some of those trails combined with some new bits.
Round Two will be a chance to see who’s actually on form, and whether anyone had a lucky break in Round One. There’ll be categories for all ages and abilities, and you can enter on the day (which is handy at this stage). You can find out more from www.southernxc.com or from the host club West Drayton MBC.
To get to the venue, leave the M3 at Junction 3, join the A322 (Lightwater bypass) and head for Guildford. At the first roundabout turn right on to the B311. You’ll reach another roundabout after about two miles, turn left at this on on to the B3015 (The Maultway). Keep going over two roundabouts, the venue is on the right immediately after the second.
