The XC course for June’s Fort William UCI World Cup round is all but completed. The 9-11km loop (depending on which bits they decide to use) mixes fast fireroady bits with swoopy singletrack bits and the odd rock drop to add a little spice. You can read a description here. It’s called the Witch’s Trail, and will remain as a permanent fixture at Leanachan Forest after the event.

And on the weekend itself, Real People can enter the World Cup Chaser (Sunday 1 June) held over exactly the same course that the pros will have raced on.
