Wow, we’ve just arrived in the French resort of Les Deux Alpes for the third round of the Enduro World Seires – which takes place as part of the Crankworx Europe festival – and it is scorchio! There are plenty of famous faces kicking about in the pits generally trying to stay cool ready for tomorrow’s race.

We’re rooming with Rob and John from DirtTV and they’re doing a fine job of manning-up to the intense sun and heat to put their famously good edits out. The busy bros are currently working on the next edit so look out for some pit chat soon…

From talking to racers the general feeling is that this will be very much a ‘downhill’ stop of the World Series, with the only big physical test coming from a long pedal on stage one. The other three stages of the race are steep, fast and wide open. Check out the course map here.

This event looks to once again be a very different challenge to that of the previous round in Val d’Allos or that of the first race in Punta Ala.
