Earlier this week we reported on the announcement of the 2014 UK Gravity Enduro Series, with the inclusion of a National Championship of enduro.
The proposed date for the one-off championship race, the event that will crown the 2014 UK National Champions, was however a clash with the first ever Enduro World Series event to be held in the UK, which will take place as part of the Scottish Tweedlove festival in late May. UKGE organiser Steve Parr had been reported to be standing his ground, however it would appear that an arrangement has been reached as is noted in the following statement:
Following extensive discussions with Chris Ball of the EWS, the UK Gravity Enduro series will now be altering its May 31st 1st June 2014 round to 21st 22nd June 2014. The Enduro World series and UK Gravity Enduro series have taken up so much of Chris’s and my time, that communication issues and misinformation have been happening. Both parties want the best for enduro and nothing else, I would like to take this opportunity to wish Tweedlove all the best with organising the 2nd round of the EWS in 2014.
