Recently-opened bike-friendly “bunk-and-breakfast” operation Dales Bike Centre will be running a three nights for the price of two promotion during October, November and December.

The dedicated bike centre just outside Reeth in Swaledale has 14 bed accommodation in a mixture of two and four-bed rooms. Also on site is a cafe, bike shop, drying room, laundry, secure bike store, bike wash and parking.

A night’s bunk and breakfast is £24, but book a midweek stay (which means anything that doesn’t include Friday or Saturday nights) and you’ll get three nights for £48. As proprietor Stu Price points out, that’s “four days riding in Swaledale, for less than the price of a pair of tubeless Jones ACX tyres”.

Stu adds, “We’re getting tremendous feedback from visitors, weekend bookings are really strong hence the midweek offer. We’ve come across a little bit of confusion about Dales Bike Centre in that it’s open to all mountain bikers and road cyclists, not just folks on our courses and guided weekends with Dales Mountain Biking.”
