It’s all go for the Thetford MTB Racing Winter Series. The big news is that Marin has signed up as title sponsor, so the series is now known as the Marin Winter Series. The Marin van and demo fleet will be in attendance at all the rounds, and if you bring suitable ID you’ll be able to take a bike for a spin. The Marin guys will be helped out by Ben Hayward Cycles, and Marin will also be bunging out an assortment of swag.

While we’re plugging event sponsors, races prizes are from Chelmer Cycles and Jerry from JT Cycles will be giving it some verbal on the PA.

We’re telling you all this now because the first event is this Sunday, 28 November. The course is a 6-8 mile loop of Thetford swoopiness, with race options including a two lap fun race (for ages 12 and up) and two or four hour enduros. There’s a pairs category in the four hour if you want to spread the load.
