Plymouth-based Silverfish (importers of Cove, Race Face, Evil, Rocky Mountain, Intense Tires, e.13, SDG, Spooky and Rock ‘n’ Roll) is to add THE Industries to its stable of brands.

THE Industries will probably be best known for the motocross-style mudguard that was popular a few years back, but the range extends to such products as helmets, saddles and body armour.

For 2008 the company has launched a new composite version of its previously carbon-only full face helmet, with custom graphics. The carbon lid will set you back £169.00, or just £99.95 for the composite helmet. If you’re not quite in the realms of full facedom, THE has more XC-oriented lids too.

“The 2008 range of helmets is going to be great for the UK market due to its high performance, new graphics and lower retail prices,” says Pete Drew, Silverfish Marketing Manager.
