The Swatch Biker-X festival runs from July 12 – 15 in Laax, Switzerland, and sounds like a superb event for those who get their kicks going down. The ‘Freeride Monster Race’ is a mass start 5km ‘fun’ event, while top European BSX riders including Dave Wardell, Matt Farmer and Martin Ogden will be in competition for a share of the £4000 prize fund in the main Biker-X event. The Swatch Freestyle Moto-X show, including Cyril Porte and Emmanuelle Troux will also be ripping up the ramps and if you’re feeling independent there are 235km of marked mountain bike trails, connected by chairlifts.
