Last weekend played host to the fourth round of the Italian Super enduro series in the quiet mountain town of Madesimo.
This round was to be special for the native racers as it also dubled-up as the Italian National Enduro Champs. Racing was incredibly tight with the likes of World Cup downhill racer Cam Cole attending, but it was Italian Alex Lupato who took the Superenduro win and also the National Champion’s crown by just over a second from Davide Sottocornola with Manuel Ducci in third. The first Brit was Mark Scott in 9th. In the women’s race it was Swiss Anita Gehrig taking the win ahead of her sister Caro Gehrig in second and Gabby Molloy in third.
