We’ve heard rumours from various sources that Steve Peat is in discussion with Animal/Orange about riding for them next year.



We know that he’s going to be moving from his flat, oh, sorry, apartment, next to GT HQ in Huntington Beach to “somewhere in Oz” so he can do some training without being invaded by pissed up Brit riders. Whether the move from GT’s neck of the woods also indicates that he’s leaving their team is another matter.


We’re chasing various contacts at Animal and at Orange to try and get this confirmed or denied – it makes little difference at this stage as until he’s got his name on a bit of paper it’ll do Orange and Animals credibility no harm at all to be associated. Until then, who knows? We’ll keep you informed.
