The Pedalon.co.uk/Dirtworker sponsored SouthernXC Series boasts six dates and several new courses brand new for 2009, and this weekend it’s off to a new venue at Pippingford Estate, near East Grinstead.

New for 2009, the course heads in to a mature estate woodland and around a fishing lake, and the event arena is said to be based above a ‘stunning valley’. Course prep is going well, say the organisers, and should provide some fast racing.

To get an idea of what the new course is all about, BM reader Paul Robinson has kindly bolted on a helmet cam and ridden the course, offering a glimpse of what to expect for all those planning to attend this weekend.
