The penultimate round of the Southern XC Series takes place on 30 July at Bordon, Hampshire. And a recent missive from the organising West Drayton MTB Club informs us that if you want to pre-enter (and you know that you do – it’s cheaper, it makes life easier for the organisers and you have one less excuse not to get out of bed that morning) you should do so, ooh, right now-ish. Pre-entries close this weekend, so don’t hang about.
Need further persuading? Bordon was rated as the favourite circuit in the 2004 series, and has been lying fallow since then. The West Drayton crew has assembled all the best bits into what’s described as a “fast and technical” course. And it’s rideable in all weather conditions. Other useful benefits include the hard-standing car parking, lots of top spectator spots, race commentary, trophies and plenty of prizes.
You can enter on the day if you miss the pre-entry deadline, but if you’re quick you can download a form from www.southernxc.com or www.westdraytonmbc.co.uk.
