Last round may have been wet but people still came round smiling – Warren Bates with the biggest smile of all after winning an Exposure SLED light in the end of evening prize draw. But remember you must be around to claim your prize. Someone else was drawn before Warren, but they weren’t there so the draw went on!
As well as the £265 super light, USE will be on hand to give out many more prizes on the night – just come along and be lucky.
For those not familiar with the format there are two categories. Intermediate is a 40 minute race starting at 7.15pm and Open is 60 minutes starting at 8.15pm. All riders will enjoy racing through the darkness on ten minute laps with the race ending when the leader comes over the finish after the elapsed time.
Yateley will provide some fantastic riding along forest road, fire road, rover track and some short sections of swoopy singletrack. Other than the start/finish area, the entire loop will be in darkness so lights are compulsory.
You can either enter on the night, or for those eager to pre-enter you can go to www.gorrick.com where you will find entry forms and photos from the first race.
