The Set2Rise 12-Hour Enduro on 29/30 May 2010 will now offer first-class catering thanks to the guys from the Afan Drop Off Cafe taking over all matters food-related.
With food matters taken care off, the organisers tell us that the course is coming along nicely:
“Now in its third year at Hill Wood, Erlestoke in Wiltshire, the event boasts a fantastic course comprising a 7 mile lap containing almost 4 miles of fun, challenging, wooded singletrack trails.
“Due to the nature of the course and SPAMBiking’s reputation for running well organised friendly events, rider numbers are limited to 500. The race, sponsored by Charge Bikes and supported by Mule Bar offers a bustling, compact race village, full of atmosphere, with camping and catering all nearby so your supporters will never be far away – everything is close by including the change over areas for riders competing in teams or pairs.”
A separate solo pit is available, with dedicated camping and toilet facilities for solo riders close to the course.
Timelaps will provide professional timing and up to date lap times can be monitored by riders throughout the night. The race starts at 6pm on Saturday 29 May and the course closes at 6am on Sunday 30 May with presentation and prize giving at 7.15am. Charge Bikes and their associated sponsors have been extremely generous with the prize fund in previous years and this year should be no exception. Prizes range from whole bikes and frames, to helmets, gloves and cleaning products (and nearly everything in between).
Entry for this event is now open www.spambiking.co.uk
