Here at BM we have a pretty substantial list headed “Site Improvements – Urgent”. The “urgent” part is a bit hopeful, if we’re honest, but the tech hamsters have been spinning the wheels late into the night and dealt with one of the longest-standing items on the list. Yes, BM now has a proper search function!

Forgive us for getting seemingly over-excited about a fairly trivial-looking thing, but we’ve been after this for years. It works, too, which is obviously a huge bonus. At the moment it searches articles and forum postings, and there are all sorts of author, date and other filters to narrow down the results.

We look forward to a tide of fascinating relics from the BM archives getting a new lease of life. But in all seriousness, we’ve posted a lot of stuff over the years, so if you’re looking for something specific then give it a go – you may be pleasantly surprised. The search box lives up there at the top of the home page…
