A new endurance race the Nightrider12, is to be staged at the legendary Newnham
Park on April 28 2007.
This event seeks to launch what is now a season of quality 12 hour races with
Bristol Bike Fest, Bontrager Twentyfour12 and Dusk til Dawn all established.
Race start is 8pm and as you’d expect that brings the event to an 8am finish
where all finishers will receive their free event breakfast (more commonly known
as a bacon sarnie and a coffee).
The course will be 11km of Newnham finest trails with the usual great mix of
flowing singletrack, steady climbs and the occasional river crossing, with some
sections being floodlit to add to the atmosphere and offer better viewing for
the venues array of wildlife.
The event website has entry forms now available with online entry and further
details by December 10 – www.nightrider12.com
The Nightrider12 will offer race options for teams of 4, pairs or those that
like to go it alone with Torq energy, Certini and the Bike Cellar on hand to
provide mechanical, energy and moral support throughout the night plus light
charging facilities, with all night cafe, water and camping all in the main
arena.
Prizes and event support are provided by Gary Fisher, Torq Energy, Certini,
The Bike Cellar and XCracer.com.
