Foot and Mouth should be clearer up by the end of September when the Newnham 90 is sheduled to run, but the organiser Martyn Salt is playing a cautious game. He told us: "The basic situation is that as most of the course revlolves around Forestry Commission and Dartmoor land there are obvious concerns about it.
"I'm pretty confident the whole thing will be sorted come September but the problem may come if any Blanket bans are imposed on dartmoor because of it's sheep, cattle population that roam relatively free."
Entry forms will be available on BIKEmagic at the end of April by which time there should be a clearer picture of what the long term situation will be with the F&M. In the mean time the im of patient can e-mail the organisers and who will put you on the list of people to get info and entry forms.
It looks like it'll be a cracking event, let's hope it goes ahead on time.
