Newnham 90, the South West’s biggest enduro returns, after four years out, on 18 May 2008.
Trek have stepped forward as title sponsors, and the previous World Cup venue will host both the 50k and the full 90k distances, with full fat cream teas promised for all finishers.
Newnham Park, Plymouth, acts as the event centre for all camping, parking, entertainment, and expect the course to feature a varied mix of woodland trails, quarry tops, moorland and rocky tracks, providing a unique package.
Entry fee includes camping, parking, pasta party with live band, hot showers, toilets, water, well stocked feed stations and a quality event T-shirt.
But that’s not all, for Saturday night sees the Shred Short Track racing around the main arena: expect more than a few scrapes, bumps and bruises from the super fast racing action.
The event has a limit of 500 riders. More details available at www.newnham90.com.
