This is great news for Scottish mountain biking, which continues to go from strength to strength. For 2014 we will be seeing a national enduro series brought to us by the team at No Fuss events and Innerleithen MTB Racing at venues across the country. No Fuss events staged the popular and successful ‘This is Enduro Now’ race in 2012 (click here for details of the 2013 event) and have taken their experience to create what should be a similarly fun and relaxed calendar of gravity enduro events for 2014.
The venues are not yet finalised but the dates are as follows:
Round 1: Feb 22 2014
Round 2: March 29/30
Round 3: June 22
Round 4: July 12/13
Round 5: October 18/19
Round 6: November 8
Venues will be confirmed later this month but are guaranteed to visit the classics and unveil some new venues with sweet trails to ensure this is a smash series. At the end of the series the riders with the highest points in each category will be crowned Scottish Champion. The final points will be based on each rider’s best 4 results.
