Klunkerz is a film that charts the history and changing face of MTBing and combines archive footage, interviews and stunning photographs to tell the story which many consider to be the birth of MTBing as we know it today.
The 90-minute film features many of the names synonymous with that development, including Gary Fisher, Tom Ritchey, Mike Sinyard and more, tell their side of the story.
It’s been screening around the world and last year won the Cycling Film of the Year gong at the Endurance Sports Awards. But aware that a lot of people probably haven’t had the chance to see what it’s all about, a new trailer has been released.
At which point we’ll hand over to the man behind the film, Billy Savage, to explain: “…I realised that I never really put a decent trailer together, so know I’ve finally done it. It’s very homegrown in style, not unlike the film itself. With this in mind, it is my hope that you enjoy it for a few minutes, then pass it on to some good friends. I want to say a special thanks to everyone who has supported me on this ride. It’s been a very long journey and, with any luck, it’s not nearly over. Thanks again, everybody.”
