Thetford Forest plays host to the thrilling 12hr night time enduro on 6-7 October 2007. It’s such a popular draw for riders that the event has filled up, with 800 riders having pre-entered.
This makes it the yet in the events history, and to make everything run smoothly, the organisers have put together a list of things to be aware of.
1. There is no water on this site! You must bring what you need with you.
2. Sign on open between 10.30am and 6.30pm on the Saturday.
3. If you know your race number before you come to sign-on (available on the “Registered Entries” page at www.thetfordmtbracing.com), it will make signing on much quicker.
4. For the soloists doing the event, the parking and pit area will located on the right side of the road as you’re driving toward Mayday Meadow on FR10
5. For pairs and team competitors, a glow stick will be used as the changeover baton. Soloists get a different colour glowstick to make identifying them easier.
6. Smile for Joolze Dymond, who’ll be on hand to capture all the action through the night. Who knows, you may be the next cover model for the Thetford MTB website.
7. Stop by and see the lads at the Marin camp and thank them for their ongoing support of racing in Thetford.
