Great news for mtbers keen to get back biking in Dumfriesshire. Mabie forest,
just outside Dumfries, is to be re-opened again this Saturday 5th May by the
Forestry Commission. Within this wee gem of a forest is of course Riks Bike
Shed and Riks Red Route! With over 8 miles of some of the best singletrack in
the area you can blast sections like the ‘roller coaster’ or ‘the scorpion’.
There’s a freeride area in the forest too for some serious dirt jumping.
