Plans for a road circuit and space for off road
|
The planning application from LDA for Hog Hill went out officially on 28 Nov
2006, with a 21-day consultation / Call for objections prior to a planning committee
meeting which is probably now going to be in January, though it could still
make it into December – just.
As we now know, it really helps the planning committee’s decision if there
are letters from the public about applications – whether for or against.
It would be a good idea to write in support of the application so that the committee
can be ‘helped’ to make the right decision.
– Put another way, if there were to be no letters from riders in support, and
one or two letters against, there would be every reason to turn down the application.
So, let’s make ourselves heard! Details of who to write to are given below.
There is still no news of the Royal Albert Docks – who is going to manage it
or when the application is to go in. Last time I spoke with the LDA, they anticipated
there being some news in the first week of December.
