The Hit the North enduro is back for 2010 now in an 8 hour format on 17 July, and takes place around North Manchester.
The organisers describe the 6.5 mile course as having a mix of “cyclo-cross, mountain bike and hideous carrying sections with a couple of stream crossings, lots of cobbles and an angry farmer’s dog to further liven things up.”
Categories include solo, pairs and teams of three, and racing begins at 11am. There’s camping available on the Saturday night, there will be a beer tent, entertainment and Sportident timing will provide instant updates online and via a wireless network in the campsite.
Entry price TBC. More details (when available) at www.hitthenorth.net.
The organisers are hosting a preview ride of the course on Saturday 17 April – more details at their website.
