This is a bit of a big one! Martin Hawyes, who has recently shown some
discontent at the way trials events are organised, is doing his own. Porthcawl,
on the 13th of August, is where it’s happening. Using the
rocks on the beach as well as some other local terrain, he’s promising world
class riding. Catering for all riders, the special feature of this trial will be
all the Elite riders riding together, a first in UK competiton, this means you
can watch all the Elite riders ride all the sections and follow the trial,
rather than just adding points up at the end.

As Martin is organising it, expect a good turnout, especially from riders
returning from the World Champs. Beach, trials, beer (probably) and stories from
distant lands. Sounds like the stuff dreams are made of.

Entries are a very reasonable £10 or £15 for Elite. Spaces are limited to 120,
