Purple Mountain are hosting a free night ride at Dalby Forest tonight (Thursday) where you can demo lights from Hope and Exposure.
There’s a night riding theme on Bikemagic this week but to really enjoy what the trails have to offer when darkness falls you’ll need some hefty firepower upfront. Luckily, Hope and Exposure are two of the best in the business.
A 30-minute guided loop will give you the chance to try as many lights as you want. The ride is free but you need to book as places are limited. A £5 deposit will be required to secure your place but this will be refunded when you turn up for your ride, or it can be exchanged for some well-earned post-ride food.
Book now by calling 01751 460011. If you can’t make it, Purple Mountain will be holding another free night ride in December. Alternatively, they run weekly rides throughout the winter, costing £15 (including bike hire and post-ride grub), with light hire an additional £10.
