Evans Cycles have released details of their Summer Trailbreak series, which begins on the third of August. The Trailbreaks are designed to offer rides of between 12 and 40 miles, to mountain bikers without the time to research their own routes. Evans ensure that the rides cater to a range of abilities and speeds – from sloth to whippet – by splitting entrants into groups. Entry to the rides costs approx £7 – £10.
Starting from their new distribution centre at Gatwick, just off the M23, the waymarked routes will be supplemented by demonstration events in the start area, which include USE offering riders the chance to try the new S.U.B fork system on demo bikes.
Also present will be Cannondale, who will be showing their range of 2003 bikes to consumers for the first time. Evans will be giving every entrant to the event a free gift bag worth over £15, and offering on-site technical support and bike cleaning throughout the day.
For further information, click through to Evanscycles.com where directions and on-line booking are also available. Ample car parking will be available at Evans Gatwick, and the route will be 100% rideable, come rain or shine.
