Evans Cycles continues to expand, opening its fourth store of the year with the latest in Reading, due to open in October.

News of this latest store opening signals the 35th Evans Cycles store, having opened three new stores earlier this year already. Located on the ground floor of the Premier Inn building on the Mill Lane Roundabout, Reading, it’s a high profile site on the edge of the city centre.

Retail Director Mark Smith says: “Reading is a great cycling location and with a growing cycling population we’ve wanted to open a store here for some time.

“Cycling saves cash, is better for the environment and keeps you fit and active,” adds Mark. “The fact that we’re growing in a time of economic upheaval is testament to the health of the cycling industry. And this isn’t the only new store on the cards; we’re looking forward to announcing more store openings over the Autumn and Winter so we can keep up with demand in 2010.”
