Sheffield-based Edge Bikes attracted a great deal of interest at last weekend’s Cycle 2002 show, according to founders Adrian Smith and Andrew Kempton. Not only did they secure a bunch of orders for their Blade duel/BSX full susser, they also attracted the attention of a crew from the BBC’s lunchtime business programme Working Lunch, who were filming the show. They were, “interested in the innovative features of our new frame as well as the fact that we’re a new UK company,” says Adrian Smith. A short segment was filmed at the show and the programme will go out tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1.30 on BBC2.
