18 minutes, 19 seconds after he set off, Stuart Dangerfield finished Saturday’s Rutland CC ten miler in Yorkshire.
The 32.75 mph average is the fastest ever recorded for an RTTC event, and knocks 8 seconds off Graeme Obree’s 8 year old record. Dangerfiled will now go on to defend his National 25 mile title next Saturday in the face of strong competition from 50 mile champ Michael Hutchinson.
Thanks to Cycling news again for that one.
