Fancy 100km in Dalby Forest and on the surrounding moors? Well, the OnOne Hundred Mountain Marathon will take place on Sunday July 24.
The fully signposted and marshalled loop will explore the best of Dalby Forest, home of next weekend’s UCI World Cup round, taking in some of the world- class fast flowing single track and forest roads before heading out on to the North Yorkshire Moors, riding over ancient byways and natural single track, before returning back to Dalby for a final flourish.
On the course there will be regular service stations with food, water, technical support and medical cover. Shortcut escape routes will be available to bring you back to Dalby under your own steam, while riders can also enter the half (50km) or mini (30km) marathons.
If skinny tyres are more your thing, the Planet X Cyclosportive, with 50km or 100km routes, takes place 24 hours previous on the Saturday. Or for a truly epic weekend, why not try and tackle both?
