The Dalby One Hundred Mountain Marathon will return on the weekend of July 21-22, with a mountain bike marathon to take place on the Saturday and a road sportive on the Sunday.
Riders can choose from three courses – 100km, 50km and 30km – on the mountain bike marathon, while two routes – 100km and 50km – will be on offer for the road sportive.
The off-road event will take in fast flowing singletrack and forest roads before heading out on to the Moors, riding over ancient byways and natural singletrack, before returning to Dalby Forest. The organisers also promise “challenging climbs and rewarding views on very quiet roads” for the road sportive.
Riders will enjoy feed stations will food, water and technical support, while marshalls and medical cover will provide support on the course. Escape routes will also enable riders to take a shortcut if their chosen distance has proved too demanding, while free camping is available from Friday evening until Monday morning.
Entry for the mountain bike marathon costs £28 for the 30km route, £33 for the 50km loop and £38 for the 100km course, while sportive entry costs £25 for the 50km course and £30 for the 100km distance – or you can enter both the mountain bike marathon and sportive for £58.
