Cycle Show organisers have made their biggest investment in mountain biking to date by building a 1km outdoor demo track.
The show, which has moved from London to the NEC in Birmingham, takes place on September 30-October 2 and will give riders the chance to test the latest bikes on the permanent track – which will be staying for good after the show has packed up for another year.
The 13-sector track will include table top jumps, flowing rock drops, low riders, cambered turns, bermed corners and a rolling/pump feature as well as a combination of fast flowing and technical sections.
“We’re really excited to be delivering an outdoor track that will give visitors the opportunity to discover what the bikes they are riding are really capable of,” said event director Andrew Brabazon.
Advance tickets bought online are priced at £12.50 for adults, £10.50 for concessions and £6.50 for children, while entry is free to under 5s. Special offers are available for advance group bookings.
