What's going to be at the show
The 2015 Cycle Show is just around the corner (Sept 25–27) and if you are into DH bikes then there are quite a few sweet machines on display for you to check out. Here’s a quick run down:
The original DH company, Intense will be showing their new Intense M16: VPP, 27.5" wheels, 215mm of adjustable travel. Hopefully the all-new carbon will be there too.
Mike Jones has just ridden the Nukeproof Pulse to fourth place at the World Championships in Andorra, and of course the one and only Sam Hill has taken the bike to two World Cup victories in recent years. The Pulse utilizes Nukeproof’s three-stage Fallout Linkage, 27.5" wheels and 210mm of travel.
Lapierre DH Team
Team rider Loic Bruni has just won the World Championships on this bike… so it has proven pedigree… what more do you need to know!?
GT Fury World Cup
Another bike that has proven itself at the highest level. The Fury has been ridden to both World Cup and World Championship victories with the Atherton race team. This is another bike that is proven on the world stage.
Transition TR 500
We love the crew at Transition Bikes, they know how to have fun but they also know how to build great bikes. Two travel settings (180mm or 203mm), 27.5" wheels and adjustable chainstay length, head angle and BB height.
Great value for money here from Vitus. The Dominer is based on Vitus’ successful Escarpe and Sommet suspension design platforms, but this time with 200mm of travel. You get a complete bike featuring RockShox BoXXer Team forks, a Shimano Zee groupset and WTB/Novatech DH specific wheelset all for just under £2400.
The Cycle Show takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from September 25-27.
When ordering tickets please use the discount code ‘DIRT’. Using the code you will get tickets for £12 for an adult ticket instead of £13.50.
