The official attendance figures for the Cycle 2000 show, supplied by the Business Design Centre and reported by industry news site BikeBiz, show 16,000 paying members of the public. Saturday was, unsurprisingly, the busiest day, with 6,350. Sunday was 5,230 and Friday 4,360.
