The Chain Reaction Cycles MTB Marathon Series will incorporate the UK National Marathon Championships in 2012.
The second leg of the five-date series will take place in Selkirk, Scotland, on May 19-20, with the nationals running ahead of the CRC traditional marathon offering.
The series historically starts with a night marathon and 2012 is no different, with the Exposure Lights Big Night Out taking place on April 7 in Builth Wells, Wales, followed by the CRC marathon the following day.
Having visited Selkirk for round two, the series then heads to Marshbrook , near Shrewsbury, on July 14-15, before touching down at a new venue in Abergavenny, Wales, on August 4-5.
The series finale then takes place in Ruthin, Wales, on September 15-16, with another Exposure Lights Big Night Out/CRC marathon doubler header.
If your also partial to a spot of road riding, sportives will also be held on the Saturday of all rounds, expect the opening date in Builth Wells.
