Scott sponsored Rally hero Colin McRae will be doing the tape cutting and first official ride duty on the new Nevis range downhill course this Friday.

The “Flying Scot” will be aboard one of the latest World Cup Downhill bikes for the launch but Scott general manager Ian Hughes told the BikeBiz website “No stranger to downhill, Colin spent a full day at the Innerleithen track earlier this year and regularly rides his Enduro Bike when at home in Lanark, and trains on his Scott Team Issue road bike when at his summer home in Majorca.”

We just wonder if he can remember the corners without a navigator telling him what comes next.
