Last year’s CLIC24 raised a mighty £19,500 for children’s cancer and leukaemia charity CLIC, and the organisers are hoping to beat that this year. There’s a brand new course on the Mendip Hills in Somerset with an event HQ in Blagdon. The new course is claimed to be the toughest 24 hour race lap in the UK, with 500ft of climbs per lap.
As well as the 24 hour main event, there’ll be Ballistic in Blagdon, a 24 lap “sprint” on Sunday. The event’s got a good reputation for atmosphere and it’s the first 24-hour race in the calendar. So set aside the weekend of 15/16 May 2004 and head over to www.clic24.org.uk to download an entry form…
