As part of the celebrations of the 10th Anniversary of Mountain Mayhem, Jo Burt, in collaboration with Joolze Dymond, was commissioned to produce an anniversary Mint Sauce illustration to be presented to Mayhem organisers Pat Adams and Jill Greenfield.
In addition to that very special pair of prints (the presentation of which actually had Pat lost for words, possibly for the first time ever), Jo and Joolze are offering 150 prints for sale to raise money for ever-popular MTB charity the RUSS Appeal.
Each one of the prints will be personalised, with a photo of the purchases incorporated into the montage. You’ll also get a certificate signed by Jo and Joolze authenticating the print. The unframed prints will cost £100, with all profits going to the RUSS Appeal.
Want one? You know you do. Contact Joolze either via www.joolzedymond.com or by email.
The RUSS Appeal – what’s that?
The RUSS Appeal organsisers explain:
Sometimes things happen that touch the true reality of life. Russ Pinder’s mountain bike accident and subsequent paralysis was one of those. A devastating consequence of a frivolous pastime…
It may well be for selfish reasons that RUSS now exists. It makes us feel better. Our ridiculous, hedonistic pursuit is, for once, putting something back. Old hippies call it karma, religions have their own explanations and the cynics know they may need a helicopter themselves one day.
The definition of the RUSS Appeal is a charity fundraising organisation started in March 2003, immediately after Russ’s crash. Efforts are being focused on raising money for the Air Ambulance service and other worthy causes.
