Good news for all you midlands riders who need a bit of gentle motivation over the holiday period. Northamptonshire mtb club CATS is once again holding their Christmas CATS Crackers Trailquest on the Sunday between Christmas and New Year (28th December), this time in benefit of the ME Association.

The Crackers is a three-hour mtb orienteering event based in the village Wilbarston, near Corby. All the checkpoints for the non-competitive event are on bridleway and road junctions, so you can pitch up on any kind of bike for this gentle easing-in to the New Year.

There’ll be free food and drink for all entrants and you can kit yourself up in fancy dress if you’re that way inclined. Entry forms can be downloaded from the website on the events page.
