Bikemagic holiday in Morocco

Come riding with us
Winter’s here, the trails are covered in mud, and all too quickly we think back to the dry and dusty trails of last summer. It’s a different story in Morocco though, as Mike recently told us. He had a fantastic biking trip there, so good (and dry) in fact, that now Maria wants to go and have a look. And she wants to take some of you with her. So, thanks to Exodus we’ve sorted out a special trip for a right royal Bikemagic get together, and thanks to Specialized there’s a whole lot of gear that comes with the package too.

So where are we going?
The trip is the ‘Atlas Descent’ and, as you can guess from its name, there’s a downhill bias (but apparently there are some interesting uphills too). The trip traverses some of the best areas in the region and gives you a chance to get a feel for Moroccan culture and way of life.

The beauty of riding in Morocco is that it combines your love of mountain biking with your sense of adventure: 90% of the riding is offroad and each day you are exposed to old donkey tracks through the mountain ranges. There are 5-6 days of cycling (some days are optional) with daily distance averaging 45km. The riding varies in difficultly with optional singletrack in some places for the better riders.

But when you’re not riding there is still plenty to see and do. Whether you would prefer to check out some of the sights or relax by the pool to rest your weary bones, you are well looked after. The idea is riding and adventure during the day time and comfort and relaxation throughout the evenings.

To see what Mike thought of the whole experience check here.

Or you can find more details from the Exodus website.

But that’s not all, you get to take some of the latest gear with you!

Specialized have come to the party with a whole list of options and freebies for you.

If you want to, you can leave your bike at home and take one of Specialized’s latest 2004 bikes away with you for free! You can choose between the new Stumpjumper FSR, an Epic or an Enduro. They also have some women specific models available if you’re that way inclined.

Not only that, but they are going to give everyone who comes away with us a complete riding set. This means new: Rockhopper Shoes, S1 Helmet and BG Comp gloves. You’ll also get some Enduro ridng shorts, a riding shirt and T-shirt specially made for the trip.

So, we know the trip is fantastic, Specialized have been more than generous with all the kit, it’s now just a case of ‘can you make it?’

You will have to HURRY as there are only 14 places available.

Date: 14-21 March 2004
Price: £799 flight inc. (insurance is additional £25)

Simply call Exodus on 0870 240 5550 and ask for Andrew (DDI 020 8772 3883), quote Trip code MMA411, and we will look forward to seeing you in the dry and dusty conditions of Morocco.
